Global Alerts Purchases AmberAlert.com, Earth911.com and Pets911.com

Scottsdale, AZ—Global Alerts, LLC. (previously Global Security Alerts, LLC), a leader in real-time, digital alerting technology and information, today announced the asset purchase of several popular Internet portals and the opening of its new headquarters at Kierland Corporate Complex in North Scottsdale.

Previously owned by E2C, Inc., AmberAlert.com, Earth911.com and Pets911.com, along with patent-pending alerting technology, all related brands, personnel and strategic relationships are now owned by Global Alerts, LLC.

“Global Alerts is better positioned now to deliver on our promise,” said President and CEO, Jeffrey Rassás. “New ownership, a new corporate headquarters and strategic investment are enabling us to deliver cost-effective, interoperable, and scalable systems necessary to meet the demands of today’s post-9/11, security-centric world. We have stabilized the business, and are investing in cutting-edge technology and management talent while pursuing strategic partnerships and acquisitions whose digital communications technologies will accelerate our plans for creating the Centralized Alerting Network (CAN)—the world’s first online global alerting network.”

Global Alerts’ Centralized Alerting Network (CAN) and digital platform is uniquely optimized for the real-time, cross-platform communications that today’s first-responders desire.

An example of the network’s success is the Amber Alert Web Portal. The site supports alerts from all 50 states and the Amber Alert Portal is already the primary alert distribution mechanism for 20 percent of the states in the U.S. In member states, citizens can sign up receive Amber Alert messages on their PCs, cell phones and/or PDAs.

The company is also actively pursuing partners such as transportation companies, courier services and digital messaging companies so that direct transmission of the alert network can be integrated into new electronic distribution networks, further expanding the reach of emergency alerts to the first responders, agencies and the public at large.
