What People Are Saying At Earth911

From a Beaches 911 user – I cannot thank you enough for the wealth of information you (and your family) have provided. I am so impressed by the timing and the concern for my family’s health……..Anyways, I have the tools to do what I can, and I thank you for it. I appreciate everything, more than you will ever know.

Peace and clean water for all!

Staples is charging $10 per machine – I’ve got keyboards, printers, computers, etc. I’d also like to scrub the hard drive on my husband’s computer before I turn it over to strangers. Help!

How do I recycle an old mercury thermometer?

I just talked to the guy at this facility and they only take computer recycling, no other hazardous waste materials (we were able to go in and correct the system)

I am trying to find out what to do with everday batteries (AA, AAA, etc.) I have a lot of them because I didn’t want to throw them in the trash but I don’t know where to take them. Please help. I live in Springfield, Illinois.

The new comments feature on the top right of each page allows us to better serve all the users of Earth 911. Please tell us what you think!
