Access Hollywood Goes Green for Emmy’s

When Access Hollywood congratulated this year’s Emmy nominees, it did so by awarding each actor a green plant to promote the new trend of “going green.” This non-traditional gift for nominees also served as a launching point for actors to discuss their environmental impact, from owning hybrid cars to conserving energy.

With other Hollywood events like Cannes, the MTV Video Music Awards and the Satellite Awards getting in on the green movement, these nominee gifts should come as no surprise. While the plant gifts had no affiliation to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (which puts on the Emmy’s), all the nominees can go home winners since they’re doing their part to help the environment.
