Solar-To-Hydrogen Technology Sold For $400 Million Euro
Environmental News Network reports that Clean Hydrogen Producers (CHP) has developed and partnered on a system that can release hydrogen from a water molecule to provide renewable energy.
In partnership with energy company Ibereolica, CHP’s Solar Water Cracker could provide hydrogen energy to solar plants, which would then be redistributed to the power grid.
“The agreement represents a significant breakthrough for CHP. In addition to providing a revenue injection, collaboration with Ibereolica will accelerate the process leading to production of fully operational solar energy units utilizing the Solar Water Cracker.”
Ibereolica is primarily focused on producing wind energy, but plans to roll out multiple mass solar energy generation plants in Spain and Mexico soon. For more information on energy, visit Earth 911’s Energy page.
