Eco-Millionaires See Boom Times Ahead

Yahoo! News features an interview with four newfound millionaires that made their fortunes from investing in green energy. Their ventures range from exploring renewable energy to developing carbon trading.

The interesting factor here is that all four were asked whether the business of green is a bubble, and all four said it wasn’t. Bruce Khouri, co-founder of Solar Integrated Technologies, even took the question one step further.

“No. For political reasons the United States has been behind others on green issues, but once it catches up it will be a domino effect. In 20 years they won’t talk about regular roofing because it just won’t exist . . . there is so much rooftop real estate that is completely under-utilized.”

The four businessmen represented the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia, showing that green energy investment has benefited people around the world. For more information on energy, visit Earth 911’s Energy page.
