Guam School Recycling Bin Filled in One Day
The Pacific Daily News writes about a new program in Guam that promotes recycling aluminum in schools. The “I-Recycle” program started on September 6, and provides cash incentives to 40 schools that fill up their bins.
The Guam Adventist Academy, one of the participating schools, filled a 300-pound bin in just one day. The school, which has 110 students, received $270 from Anheuser-Busch Recycling Corp.
