KeySpan Environmental Sustainability Competition

The KeySpan Foundation is sponsoring a contest during the month of October for all schools in Boston, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. The first-place prize will be a $1000 grant, banner, plaque, eco-friendly gift bags (up to 30) and certificates. The top three winning schools will be featured on the Do Something homepage.

Each participating school or club must initiate a project that takes action to save energy, reduce waste and get as many people involved as possible within the school population, which will all be documented in an online submission form that needs to be documented by Nov. 6, 2007. Winners will be announced on America Recycles Day, Nov. 15, 2007.

For more information on this contest, visit the official website.
