Water Key in Area Elections
The Spectrum prints responses from seven Cedar City Council member candidates on the county’s water shortage and what course of action should be taken to conserve what is still available.
The responses are varied from those who feel it isn’t a major problem yet to one who wants to cut a deal with farmers so they are using recycled water. The common theme among all seven is that any water costs should fall on citizens, whether through usage fees or bonds and taxes.
