Retailer Pays For Old Electronics
KXAS in Dallas features a program by North Texas Costco stores where they can trade in used electronics for store credit toward new products for the holidays.
Costco has set up a free Web site where visitors can choose what they want to recycle and various features (manufacturer, accessories, etc.). After you choose from the options, you’ll be given a trade-in value and a pre-paid shipping label. Your Costco Cash card will arrive about a month later.
Once the items are shipped to Costco’s partner GreenSight technologies, they will be recycled to ensure that these products do not end up in a landfill.
