Recycle Your E-Waste in Northridge
REI is sponsoring a free collection event for Northridge residents to drop off electronics on Saturday, March 22 that will benefit Camp Laurel.
The event will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the parking lot of the REI store at 18605 Devonshire Street in Northridge. Participants can recycle computers and monitors, TVs, printers, copiers, fax machines and cell phones. These products will then be recycled by ease e-waste.
Participants will receive a 15 percent discount coupon from REI. Companies with a large number of items to dispose should call (866) 548-8100.

Another great recycling fundraiser is from Planet Green, in Chatsworth (near Northridge). You can recycle cell phones and printer cartridges year-round with them and get paid a LOT of $$$. They also pay for shipping for inkjets and cell phones and provide free collection boxes. http://www.planetgreenrecycle.com
