Olympic Gold Medalist Spitz Promotes Metal Recycling

The 2008 Summer Olympics may be starting this week, but precious metal recycler Get Gold Cash, Inc. is embracing past champions by signing nine-time gold medal swimmer Mark Spitz as its new spokesman.

Spitz is part of a new campaign to promote the recycling of gold and other precious metals, which includes a mail-in program for recycling of broken and unwanted jewelry.

In addition to gold, Get Gold Cash buys sterling silver, diamond and platinum jewelry. You can use Earth911 to find out where to recycle other scrap metal.
