New Website Focuses on Wisconsin Recycling

The Wisconsin Be SMART Coalition has launched a new site called Recycle More Wisconsin that provides in-depth information on what materials are recycled in each community, as well as what items are banned from state landfills.

The site covers the accepted materials of each community’s curbside program, including electronics.

It was created in response to a survey of 400 Wisconsin residents that showed recycling interest was high, but education about what to recycle was not.

Recycle More Wisconsin also provides recycling news from around the state. Regardless of where you live, you can use Earth911 to find locations to recycle these products and more.
