Lenovo Offers Free Electronics Recycling

Lenovo, which produces the ThinkPad and other computers, servers and mobile phone handsets, has announced that it will offer free mail-in recycling through a partnership with ECO International.

All Lenovo and certain IBM products will be accepted free of charge, and Lenovo will also pay for the shipping. Used electronics that are still in working condition can be traded-in for VISA gift cards, regardless of the original manufacturer.

The program covers:

  • Cell phones
  • Notebook/desktop PCs
  • Monitors
  • Music players
