Samsung Recycling Direct Launches New Sites Across Country
Samsung Electronics America, Inc., recently launched Samsung Recycling Direct℠, a take-back and recycling program for all Samsung consumer electronics. Over 170 drop-off locations across all 50 states have been established for consumers to bring their Samsung branded electronics for free recycling.
The locations will also accept non-Samsung branded consumer electronics for a nominal fee. In a growing number of locations, home appliances are also accepted.
Samsung Recycling Direct℠ launched it’s campaign by hosting recycling events around the country for its employees. “Thousands of Samsung employees across the country demonstrated their shared commitment to the environment by recycling consumer electronics products, including mobile phones, televisions, cameras, VCRs, computers and monitors,” said DJ Oh, president and CEO of Samsung Electronics America. “We are truly inspired by this level of receptivity and participation.”
The Samsung Recycling Direct℠ site provides information on recycling locations and upcoming recycling drives. You can also check out Earth911 to find out where to recycle electronics in your area.
