The Home Depot Holds Green Home Video Contest

The Home Depot created a video contest on YouTube allowing people to submit videos of eco-friendly steps they’ve taken in their home to save money. The winner will receive a $5,000 Home Depot gift card.

If you want to submit a video, it should focus on energy and water conservation. The contest is open until November 9. To submit a video, visit The Home Depot’s YouTube channel.

The Home Depot recommends several options for saving energy, but if you decide to change a thermostat or install compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), keep in mind these products contain recycle mercury products using Earth911.
