L.A. Go Green Expo to Use Eco-Friendly Practices

The Go Green Expo will be having its first Los Angeles-based event from January 23-25, 2009, and will look to reduce waste in one of America’s largest cities through several new partnerships.

Exhibitor at Go Green in New York

The Expo began in 2008 to bring together businesses providing eco-friendly products with consumers looking to learn more about what it means to “go green.”

Brighter Planet will complete an emission evaluation for the show to calculate waste disposal, along with energy usage and staff/attendee travel. These results will be offset to create a carbon-neutral event.

Printing Responsibly is in charge of signage and marketing materials, which will be printed on recycled and chlorine free paper using vegetable- and soy- based ink. Even trash cans will be lined with 100 percent biodegradable trash bags provided by Perf Go Green.

Other Go Green Expos in 2009 will take place in Philadelphia, New York and Atlanta.
