CNN’s ‘Planet in Peril’ Looks at Eco-Issues From All Sides

From e-waste in Nigeria to Great White sharks in the seas around Cape Town, South Africa, CNN’s “Planet in Peril” takes a full-scale look at many of the key issues affecting our environment today. Waste, conservation, clean water, disease and energy are just a few of the overreaching topics covered  by the special worldwide investigation.

On December 11, CNN will air “Planet in Peril: Battle Lines,” hosted by Anderson Cooper, chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta and “The Oprah Winfrey Show” correspondent and National Geographic host Lisa Ling, who will examine the environmental conflicts between growing populations and natural resources.

As the three reporters traverse the planet, their regular updates cover the “Planet in Peril” blog with articles, photos and vlogs, which you can check out before the show airs.
