Add these ingredients chopped up (or thrown into a food processor, even better) and placed in soil a few inches down (for those who don't have a composter). Add a little chopped garlic, onion and/or cayenne to deter animals like racoons.. Every so often mix the soil. When the soil is rich, dark & loamy - voila! You have great soil. Flowers will be bright and happy and beneficial insects like ladybugs and butterflies will visit your garden.
