Cell Phone
Cell phones and personal digital assistants (PDAs) have revolutionized both the home and workplace. Although many consumers simply keep old devices in an obscure drawer around the house, these devices can be easily recycled with other e-waste, donated, repaired or resold. Organizations such as the 911 Cell Phone Bank are setup to ensure that seniors and various victims have access to emergency 911 communications. Donated phones are either refurbished for reuse or disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
