Smoke Detectors

According to the National Fire Protection Association, from 2000 to 2004, nearly two-thirds of home fire deaths occurred in homes that had no smoke alarms or non-functioning smoke alarms. The U.S. Fire Administration recommends installing devices on every level of your home, even the basement, and both inside and outside of sleeping areas.
