The earliest clothing was probably made out of fur, leather, leaves or grass. It was wrapped or tied around the body in the hopes to protect early humans from the elements. Though still used for functional reasons, clothing has taken on the art form of self-expression, cultural connection and religious belief systems. Regardless of what type of clothes you wear, getting rid of old clothes is a situation where you can make choices to positively impact the world around you.
