Red Tide: There are no warnings for contact with ocean waters affected by red tide. The red tide should not pose an increased risk of illness in swimmers. However, there is quarantine on mussel consumption due to risk of PSP or domoic acid poisoning for mussels taken from all coastal waters in California.
