City of Chicago HHW Program Information
Chicagoans can dispose of common household hazardous products at two seasonal HHW collections in Chicago every year. This program accepts lawn chemicals and most household chemicals.

ReStore is a home improvement resale store benefiting Habitat for Humanity. ReStore accepts donated materials from retailers, wholesalers, distributors, contractors, and homeowners. ReStore then sells the material at bargain prices to the general public. Proceeds build Habitat homes. ReStore carries new and gently used home improvement material such as windows, doors, lighting, trim, lumber, millwork, flooring, tile, carpet, tools, hardware, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical.
