Where do you dispose of the new energy-saving light bulbs that are suppose to last 4-5 years (this one only lasted about 6 months)? I live in Pontotoc, MS.

For a Recycleing place to state that they are for Residents Only? First, how would they know if you Drop it off? Pontotoc has a Recycling Trailer with different bins, one for office paper, one plastic bottles, one Steel Lids and cans. Then on Water & Hwy 15 they have an Aluminum Recycling place. I was told about this old Microwave I have that Cowby Mahoneys will take them to dispose of properly.. just have to put by thier trash bin and it will be disposed of the right way they told me.

The Mississippi Department of Enviromental Quality web site is the best place to go for recyling information in Mississippi. This link is for their directory of Mississippi recyling companies. http://www.deq.state.ms.us/MDEQ.nsf/page/Recycling_RecyclingDirectories?OpenDocument

Good Morning, I am trying to find recycle centers for plastic bottles, cans and paper near Grenada, MS. Oxford MS has three sites that recycle these items but they state that they are for residents only. Is there anywhere else? I thought maybe Waste Management would offer some sort of recycling options but I can't find anything. I appreciate your help and assistance.
