Where can I recycle used satellite dishes? I want to dispose of this correctly, and I can't find a place here in Springfield, MO or the surrounding area that takes these kinds of items.

First, a bunch of answers.

Judy McLean: For hair clogs, you can use the Turbo Snake that is sold on TV. I keep one in my bathroom and it works like a charm. It's basically just super strong velcro on a flexible stick- you could probably rig something similar yourself it you need to.

Bob Haddock: Check with your local recycling center. Mine accepts clear plastic film, bubble wrap, and things like bread bags along with shopping bags. Yours might too!

Shirley Fanger: Google "Hazardous Waste Collection" and your town name- you probably have a local collection site. In Rolla our recycling center collects hazardous waste by appointment. Another option for recycling CFLs is Home Depot.

Jane Twenter: E-waste can be recycled at Mid-MO Recycling, located at 6104 Brown Station Rd in Columbia. You can also keep an eye out for special collection events they sometimes run around town.

Now, my question is what do I do with that plastic netting they put around live Christmas trees? I'm afraid of what it may do to wildlife if I just throw it out!
