I've tried for over ten years to bring this information to the public awareness and also attempted to implement several programs that if they were done at the beginning would have been less expensive than they are now. However, the whole concept of these community programs of necessity go much further than their cost. Our local community is so far off track that when I bring these issues to the table they more or less turn their noses to the air and ignore me. That's okay, I recycle anyway...and keep a very close eye on the things they do that are harming our environment.

I am looking for a place to take propane tanks for recycling or destruction. They are the old type with no fill control valve. Does anyone recondition these with the new valves?
