I don't want to pollute the planet either but there has to be a better way. Our waste management takes hazardus waste once a year only in May. Don't like leaving them around they could get broke unintentionally. What does a person on Sec 8 and food stamps do that has 2 or more kids. Why couldn't they be inserted in a heavy duty large garbage bag close the bag and then break them up, you could get 8 or 10 in the bag keep it sealed after each bulb . And then take them to the dump on hazardous waste day in May. This green thing is going to kill little people, but the elite is going to be enriched.
