We get lots of Rx products shipped to us by VA Hospital that comes in polystyrene coolers. Where can I take these to recycle? They are nice clean little coolers but who needs them in abundance? I feel bad to put them in the garbage. I've heard that they are made with petroleum and last in the ground like forever. Also when they are burned they emit toxic fumes from the benzene in them. Can anyone help? Where should they go for the safest recycling?

Where in NJ can I recycle tupperware and tupperware-like containers? For example, the kind of plastic that chinese food sometimes comes in. I have too much of it and I want to get rid of it but I don't want to just throw it out.
