Recycling Education Program – The City of Oklahoma City
This program is offered by The City of Oklahoma City Solid Waste Management Division. The program is available to schools, libraries, civic groups and neighborhood and homeowner associations. The Volunteer Coordinator is available to give presentations on the City’s curbside recycling program, composting, grasscycling and mulching. These practices are easy ways help the environment by reducing the amount of waste entering local landfills. Presentations will provide an overview of different practices and how to properly participate to ensure maximum benefits for residents and the environment.

Saturday Morning Sweep – The City of Oklahoma City
Saturday Morning Sweep is offered by the City’s Solid Waste Management Division to help neighborhoods clean up illegal dumping and overgrown common areas. The program is available April 1 – September 30 on Saturdays. The City provides a trash container and trash bags. The neighborhood provides the volunteers to conduct the clean up. The program is available to any organized neighborhood/homeowner association within the city limits of Oklahoma City.
