    Where can I recycle a nylon carpet? Industry, State and Federal Government signed an agreement to reduce carpet waste in January of 2002. Recycling nylon carpet via reactive extrusion has been around since April of 1997. So, my question: where can I recycle my nylon carpet? I live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

    Check out our recycling location database. The results are for all carpet, but if you call ahead you can get more specifics about nylon vs. other material. Thanks!!

    There is no plastic recycling in my area at all. Fulton County Pa 17267. What a Bummer!
