Rapid City has a wonderful community wide curbside recycling service and several drop off sites for residents to use. One item that needs to be added to the recycling effort is telephone books. How are other communities in South Dakota recycling phone books?

I have noticed remote sites within the Sioux Falls School District have styrofoam trays in which we use for lunch. I am not sure what the lunch programs at the other schools within the district use, however, I think it is detrimental to our environment to use such copious amounts of styrofoam.

Hi. I noticed the other day after ordering take-out from “pizza-ranch” that they also used styrofoam to keep food warm. When will people join the revolution of reduce-reuse-recycle and start partaking in it a little?!??????
