In 2009 Tennessee ranked 34th on the list of environmentally friendly states. I wonder how it is ranked now? I live in Hendersonville and pay a monthly fee for recycling of glass, paper etc and am very glad to have this company available to recycle with. However, I pay over $200.00 a year on my city property tax bill for regular trash pickup. I can’t get anyone to pickup my old worn out garden hoses. It is really difficult to go GREEN in Tennessee!! Does anyone know of anyplace around Sumner County where I can dispose of them By the way Martha, if you have a Radio Shack near you I believe they will take rechargabe batteries. Home Depot will dispose of CFLs.

I have a need to recycle #4 LDPE (stretch wrappings) near Lebanon, TN or Livingston, TN. This is loose material not bailed or compacted. It is in Gaylord boxes. It is from a commercial operation. Please email me with your capabilities, location(s), and fees.

looking for a recycler that will accept glass. My company is a manufacturer of windows and we are looking for somebody to take our glass but not have it put in a landfill but nobody local will recycle it can anyone out there give me a hand if so please email at cbusby.elixir@gmail.com. A small flame-shaped chandelier fleurecent lightbulb exploded, and I have tried to find a place to dispose of it. I have several “dead” 48″ fleurescent lights, and some “dead” compact fleurescents, and “dead” batteries to dispose of. I looked on the list, and there were no disposal sites listed within 100 miles, and I do not have a car. What am I to do?
