Earth 911 Beach Reporting System Featured in LakeLine Magazine Summer 2003 Issue
Phoenix, AZ., July 1, 2003 – LakeLine Magazine included an article about the Earth 911 Beach Reporting System in their Summer 2003 issue devoted to coastal issues. Earth 911 introduced the Beach Reporting System to Coastal Managers in 2000 as a tool to help with Public Notification requirements outlined in the Beaches Environmental Assessment and Coastal Health (BEACH) Act of 2000. Today Coastal Managers use this simple and effective tool to inform beach goers so they can “know before they go” about water quality advisories and closures at their favorite beaches.
