Solar Cell Production Jumps 50 Percent in 2007

NY Times Square Ball “Goes Green”

BBC News reports that this evening's ball drop in New York's Times Square will be using energy-efficient LED lights in celebration of the ball's 100th year. Thompson Pushing Mandatory Bottle Return Bill

The Frederick News-Post reports that Frederick County Commissioner John L. Thompson Jr. is attempting to develop a mandatory bottle recycling program for county retailers to increase recycling participation.
