I’ve been pleased to see a number of UK based mobile phone retailers running mobile phone recycling incentives during 2007 offering discounts on new mobile phones in exchange for older models. Lets hope this trend continues into 2008 and isnt just a marketing flavour of the month. I certainly took advantage of the mobile phone recycling scheme safe in the knowledge that my old mobile would be of use for someone else and not end up in some landfill site somewhere.
