Bus Tour to Promote Sustainable Foods

This E-wire release profiles a bio-fueled bus tour taking place in August that will promote sustainable food throughout the country and the people who produce, distribute and eat it. The “Eat Well Guided Tour of America” will hit 25 towns from August 2-September 9, and is planning to showcase the summer harvests of different areas with seminars and tastings.

“The tour will visit restaurants that serve local, seasonal and sustainably-produced food, family farms and farmers markets in California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.”

For those who can’t make it to any of the tour stops, the Sustainable Table website will feature video blogs, maps and recipes from the stops. For more information, visit http://www.sustainabletable.org/roadtrip/.
