Green Business Spurs Growth for Energy Consultants

Reuters reports that one of the less talked about beneficiaries of the green movement in business has been energy consulting firms. More and more businesses are looking for tactics to save money on things like electricity, and are finding other benefits at the same time.

“When Legow Management switched to energy efficient windows, the company found it cut noise levels, a side benefit that owner Jerry Legow hopes will help keep tenants for longer.”

The article goes on to say that the U.S. Green Business Council is also taking advantage of the phenomenon, as it just secured its 10,000th member. For more information on green business, visit Earth 911’s Business Resources page.
