Fujitsu Reveals Biodegradable Laptop

ZDNet announces the newest eco-friendly piece of technology: the Fujitsu LifeBook. It is the first laptop to have a fully biodegradable chasis made of cornstarch, which will decompose within a few months once disposed.

The LifeBook is currently only available in Japan, despite the fact that Fujitsu’s headquarters are in Sunnyvale, California. One thing to keep in mind is that there are lots of other hazardous elements in computers and other electronics besides the chassis.
