Hennepin County Celebrates Choose to Reuse Month in October

Check out Hennepin County’s Choose to Reuse campaign, which will take place in October. The program is being held in partnership with 80 Minnesota organizations, and will encourage residents to reuse and reduce waste.

One aspect of the campaign will be a free series of “Trash to Treasure” events for children that will showcasing reusing by using recycled scrap metal to create art.

Hennepin County has also created a free coupon book with the help of local organizations that specialize in used goods. Click here for the Choose to Reuse coupon book.
