Londoners Too ‘Lazy’ to Recycle at Work

Recycling and Waste Management News publishes the findings of a new survey in London showing that 49 percent of people fail to recycle while they are at work even though 86 percent said they had adequate facilities to do so.

The survey also showed that respondents were much more likely to recycle at home than at work, because at work recycling is perceived as “someone else’s responsibility.” The survey was commissioned by representatives of Working Buildings Week, which is a collection of events highlighting effective and efficient management of workplaces.
