Ted Nugent: Join Crusade to Recycle, Reuse, Save Energy

The Waco Tribune features an op-ed piece by musician and television host Ted Nugent, who encourages fellow Texans to recycle and save energy for the sake of the environment.

Nugent tells the story of a hunting trip he was on where six trucks were left running for more than an hour to keep people warm. He then mentions that since moving from Michigan, he’s seen many more drink containers in garbage cans, which he credits to the lack of a drink deposit system in Texas.

For those in Texas looking for a place to recycle drink containers, check out Earth 911′s recycling locator toolbar at the top of this page. For more on conserving energy, visit Earth 911′s Energy page.
