Recycle More and Better: It’s Easy

The Wauchope Gazette reports on Australia’s National Recycling Week, which is running from November 12-18 to increase recycling participation and efficiency throughout the country.

The week-long celebration was developed by Planet Ark, an Australian nonprofit organization that has also released a new report called Prospecting the Future of Recycling.

One interesting point mentioned in the article is that Australia is the leading recycler of newspaper, recycling over 75 percent of its newsprint. For more on the benefits of recycling, visit Earth 911′s Recycling page.
