My friend and I were recently talking about how modern society has evolved to become so integrated with technology. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory gets less expensive, the possibility of downloading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.

First let me say thank you! Still new to the world of recycling but not to the mistreatment of hard working human beings. To those out there sorting this often thoughtless part on others (myself) I say thank you.I will do my best to educate myself as to make your jobs a bit easier and to let you know that people do care about your end. I hope they offer you medical benefits and ample sick time as well proper maternity leave and benefits. You are what keep our society going and until recently I had no idea just how thankful I would be for your hard labor. So thank you!
                                              much respect and thanks

Nice One, guys! We do everything by hand, sorting up to 8 tons of mixed materials on a given day, using 7 staff members, 5 of which are women. Our materials are delivered in plastic bags of up to 3kgs each. The only "recyclable" materials we don't keep for recycling are the no.6/Styrofoam. The waste ratio is an average of 5% as we check the bags when we collect them, educating the homeowners on a constant basis.
