Countdown to Christmas: Three Weeks

Hopefully you took Earth 911′s advice from last month’s newsletter and purchased a real Christmas tree this year instead of an artificial tree. For more on the benefits of buying real vs. fake trees, click here.

If you still haven’t purchased your tree, go check out your local Christmas tree farm or lot instead of buying a reusable one made of PVC plastic. After the holidays are over, don’t forget to recycle your real Christmas tree using Earth 911′s recycling locator search.

If you have a commercial or municipal Christmas tree recycling program and don’t see your information in Earth 911′s database, send us an email.
