Sierra Nevada Brewery to Get 34 Percent of Power From Solar

Environmental Leader reports that Chico, California-based brewery Sierra Nevada is adding 6,800 solar modules in a two-phase plan to receive over a third of its power from renewable solar energy.

The first phase was completed at the end of December 2007, and the second phase will be finished in June 2008. The ultimate goal is for Sierra Nevada to receive 100 percent of its energy by on-site alternative means, although a timeline has not been given for this.
