Dickinson to Shred Your Paper and Recycle Your E-waste

Keep Dickinson Beautiful is sponsoring several recycling opportunities this weekend, a paper shredding event on Friday and an e-waste collection event on both Friday and Saturday.

The shredding will be for paper documents that are of a sensitive nature, such as medical or credit card information. The event will run from 10 a.m-3 p.m. and allow up to five boxes of paper per person. The paper scraps will be recycled.

The e-waste recycling event will cover computers and accessories, telephones and cellular phones and most audio and video devices other than televisions. It will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the 25th and 26th.

Both events are free of charge to Dickinson residents. For more information call Julie Masters at (281) 337-6293.
