You can find drop off sites to donate wearable crocs at http://crocscares.com/donate-your-crocs/. This is good because some charities don’t accept crocs. However, I can’t find anything on the internet about recycling end-of-life crocs (broken, worn out, etc.). Many web sites link to Soles United. Today is May 17, 2011, and that URL is showing a junk site that has nothing to do with crocs.

I just spoke to the Crocs’ Headquarters. The “Soles United” site is renamed “crocs cares”, but it is temporarily suspended. I left a message for someone to call me back. Anyone who wants to call Crocs to encourage them to continue the program should call 866-306-3179, ext 9. Their office is open M-F, 8-5 MST.

I navigated to the Soles United Site and saw no information regarding recycling Crocs, just a link to their store. If I cannot find a way to recycle them, I don’t think I should buy another pair.

We live north of Boston, MA.
Anywhere nearby where I can recycle my son’s old crocs or do I need to send them off to Bloomington, CA?
