Intel Sponsors Albuquerque E-Waste Collection Event

Looking to recycle anything from typewriters to DVD players in the Albuquerque area? Natural Evolution, Inc., in partnership with Intel New Mexico and KOAT-TV, is holding a free electronic waste recycling event at Balloon Fiesta Park on April 4-5 for both residents and businesses.

Commercial recycling will take place on Friday, April 4 from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Residents can bring their obsolete electronics the following day from 8:00 a.m-2:00 p.m.

Accepted items include:

  • CPUs and computer accessories
  • Computer monitors
  • Fax machines/copiers
  • Typewriters
  • DVD players/VCRs
  • Video games
  • Telephones/cell phones
  • Cameras
  • Stereo equipment

Televisions and household appliances will not be accepted. Visit the city’s site or call 311 for more information.
