Colorado Town to Recycle Electronics

The fifth annual Evergreen Electronics Recycling Day will allow Denver-area residents to recycle their electronic products on May 3 at Evergreen’s Church of the Hills.

E-waste recycler Guaranteed Recycling Xperts (GRX) will be collecting these devices from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and recycling them. Most of these products will require a fee for proper disposal, including:

  • TVs—$1 per diagonal inch
  • Monitors—$10 each
  • Fax machines/Scanners/Copiers—$10 each
  • Laptops—$5 each
  • Hard drives—$5 each
  • Printers—$5 each
  • Radios—$5 each
  • Microwaves—$5 each
  • DVD players/VCRs—$5 each
  • Answering machines—$3 each
  • Keyboards—$2 each
  • Mouses—$2 each
  • Cell phones—No charge

Last year, the event collected 27,000 pounds of obsolete electronics. For more information, call (303) 674-3922.
