Donate Cell Phones to Plant Trees

Cell phone recycling company iRecyclePhones.com has partnered with American Forests to plant a tree for each cell phone donated starting Earth Day, April 22.

You can print a free shipping label and recycle cell phones of all makes and models. There is no limit to how many phones you can donate. Each donation will result in one tree planted in a location in need of environmental restoration, such as areas damaged by wildfire.

If you’re looking to drop off used phones for recycling, find a location using Earth 911′s recycling locator.
